Karolina Forum:
The Karolina Forum is a large-scale shopping area based in the industrial city centre. It is one of the biggest shopping complexes in Ostrava. We went there to eat before joining some friends from the faculty in the city centre. We saw a boxing match organised in the middle of the entrance to the shopping area.

This event is organised every week and allows the visitors of the forum to discover boxing by introducing secondary league fights from the Czech Republic. We made a tour to visit the shops present in this area, many of them are also present in France, in the end only some of them are typical of the Czech Republic. Several things seemed different, the Forum is huge and it is extremely hot, around 24 degrees Celcius. There is also no excalator, everything is done by walking up the steps which sometimes seem very long.

Laser Game:

On Thursday 16 March, we had an experience with the students of the school by participating in a Laser game session with my friends Richard and Mateo. We formed a tight team and from the moment we entered the arena we wanted to win. We worked out a strategy to cover each other and take our opponents by surprise but it definitely didn't work and we lost the first game. Richard turned out to be a very bad shooter as did Mateo. After this first bad game together, we managed to score a lot of points on the second game and won it after changing our strategy. After the game we went to talk with the opponents to bond with them and understand their strategies.

Karting session:
On Thursday 23 March we participated, again with students from the school, in a karting day with my friends Richard and Mateo. After a quick briefing, we put on our helmets and got into our karts. Richard, always competitive, took the lead from the start but ended up on the wrong side of the line, while Mateo had a little more difficulty getting the hang of the kart. The tight corners and long straights made the race really fun. The organisers had promised a prize for the best time of the sessions, I finished 2nd out of all the drivers and won a school pen, a small reward for all the effort I put into the race.
